History Transfer Major - AA

The subject of history is a lens through which students can view the world and our place in it. Students may want to pursue a degree in History to become a teacher but a History major would also be well suited to work in archives, libraries, museums, as well as state and national parks and monuments. Many historians go on to be lawyers, journalists, authors, and even politicians. As a history major you will learn skills such as critical thinking, reading, analysis, and research.
