PTA 454 - Seminar for PTA

3 credits

The course will address all aspects of patient care in a physical therapy setting, including what is expected of a PTA at entry-level practice. This course will incorporate students’ experiences from Clinical Affiliation I, II, and III. Career readiness topics will be explored, including licensure preparedness, resume writing and interview skills, career and professional development, health care provider and patient safety, PT/PTA team, and others. An interprofessional educational experience will also be conducted during the seminar.
