3creditsThis course, a continuation of FLS 231 , helps students further their proficiency through activities that take on a communicative and application-based approach to learning. Students acquire vocabulary and grammatical knowledge in context in order to be able to participate in conversations and social interactions in everyday situations. Integrated throughout the course is the study of the characteristics, perspectives, practices, and products that reflect the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. The goal is for students to achieve an Intermediate Mid/High proficiency level of the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines and 5 C’s of the World-Readiness Standards.
