GRA 218 - Interactive Design 3 credits This course introduces students to modern interactive and web design through a blend of foundational HTML/CSS, UX and UI design principles, and digital design practices. Students learn how websites are structured, how styles are applied, and how to refine layouts using design thinking, accessibility standards, and user-centered methodologies. Using UI design tools, students build wireframes and prototypes and then apply their designs to a functioning website created in a visual editor. The course emphasizes visual clarity, usability, responsiveness, and accessibility. By the end of the semester, students produce a multi-page website and demonstrate understanding of the web design process.
