GRA 122 - Design Principles 3 credits This course introduces students to the core principles of visual design and the creative process used in professional practice. Through hands-on projects, students explore typography, composition, color, and hierarchy while applying strategies for idea generation and visual problem-solving. Emphasis is placed on understanding client needs, planning and managing design projects, and presenting design concepts effectively. Students learn to balance creativity with functionality by addressing usability and information design across print and digital platforms.
