SUR 133 - Surgical Asepsis and Instrumentation

This course introduces the student to surgical instruments. Emphasis on identification (type, function, and name) and proper handling, including assembly and sterilization, of instruments, equipment, and supplies. Includes application of microbiology as it relates to sterilization and asepsis.
