PTA 454 - Seminar for PTA

3 credits

The course addresses all aspects of patient care in a physical therapy setting, including what is expected of a PTA at entry-level practice. This course will incorporate students’ experiences from Clinical Affiliation I and II. Career readiness topics will be explored, including licensure preparedness, resume writing and interview skills, career and professional development, health care provider and patient safety, PT/PTA team, and others. An interprofessional educational experience will also be conducted during the seminar.
