NET 426 - Offensive Network Security 3 credits This course enables students to use penetration-testing tools and techniques that ethical hackers and security testers utilize to protect computer networks. Skills and techniques include foot printing, social engineering, vulnerability scanning, enumeration, and effective communication. The course incorporates a lab component in which students practice skills designed to assess security flaws in a network.
Prerequisite: NET 423 or NET 501
