DEA 508 - Fundamentals of Dental Assisting

This lecture, lab and clinical course provides an introduction to the dental office, instrumentation, equipment, basic intraoral skills development, and operative dentistry procedures. Hazard management and infection control strategies are emphasized. Application of learned skills is provided through a general dentistry clinical experience.
