CHM 271 - Organic Chemistry II

This is a combined lecture and lab course that is a continuation of Organic Chemistry I. Topics covered include ethers, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids and their derivatives, amines and biologically important fats, proteins, and carbohydrates. The course emphasizes qualitative organic analyses and spectroscopic methods.
