This combined lecture and lab course covers the nomenclature, mechanics, diagnostic procedures and repair processes for bassoons, along with a comprehensive review of woodwind instrument repair. Fundamental skills of padding, key corking, regulation and adjustment of mechanisms and diagnostic procedures are emphasized.
