ACC 131 - Principles of Accounting I 4 credits This course introduces students to fundamental accounting concepts and procedures applicable to service-oriented and merchandising sole proprietorships. Emphasis is placed on the accounting cycle, financial statement preparation, internal control, and basic financial analysis.
Students may use tools, including spreadsheets and artificial intelligence applications, to support analysis, practice problem-solving, and enhance understanding of accounting concepts.
