SUR 213 - Surgical Procedures III

8 credits

This is the third course that focuses on surgical procedures in the specialty areas of Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Plastic Reconstructive, Oral Maxillofacial, and Neurosurgery. Procedures will include surgical anatomy, incisions, preoperative diagnoses; patient preparation; case preparation: outcomes and complications of the surgery. This course uses lecture, laboratory, and supervised clinical practice which provides a correlation of theory to practice and development of skills.
