ADN 235 - Principles Pharmacology for Nursing

3 credits
This course will examine the concepts and principles of pharmacology. Major drug classifications and their actions, adverse effects, interactions, and contraindications for use are explored. Emphasis is placed on the nurse’s role in safe medication administration, dosage calculation, and patient education with the use of the nursing process.

Prerequisite:
A minimum grade of C in PNN 624 Nursing I
